Subjects: TOEIC Reading, Communication in America

Born and raised in Osaka. While working for a major employment information publishing company in Japan I passed the General Travel Supervisor's Exam. In 1995 I entered Trajal of Osaka (now Hospitality & Tourism College, Osaka). In 1997 I left Osaka for America and earned a Bachelor's Degree in communication at the University of Washington. I joined Trajal Seattle in 2002. In my Employment Preparation class I teach how to write effective job application letters and other tips to help students avoid falling behind in their job searches when they return to Japan. In Situational English, students develop the vocabulary and speaking skills to discuss their symptoms or problems with doctors, bank tellers, security guards, etc. I also introduce the basics for safe and satisfying travel, in the hope that the students will apply their new knowledge to make new discoveries and see new sights in this vast country. In TOEIC Reading I aim to develop a program to improve each student's TOEIC score by at least 300 points. I look forward to seeing their eyes pop out!
